These terms govern your access to and use of the StepRecruit platform. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to them.

About these terms
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and StepRecruit B.V. (“StepRecruit”, “we”, “us”), Cornelis Springerstraat 20, 1073 LJ Amsterdam, Netherlands, KvK 87654321. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the platform.

Eligibility & accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your account and profile.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

The service
StepRecruit is a platform that connects companies with professionals for seasonal, part-time and full-time work. We facilitate matching, messaging, document exchange and payments, but we are not a party to any employment or service agreement between a company and a candidate.

Fees & payments
- Candidates use StepRecruit free of charge.
- Companies may post their first job at no cost; additional plans and features may be subject to fees stated at the time of purchase.
- Fees are exclusive of VAT (BTW) unless stated otherwise and are non-refundable except where required by law.

Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Post false, misleading, discriminatory or unlawful content.
- Harvest data or contact users for purposes unrelated to legitimate recruitment.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the platform.
- Circumvent the platform to avoid applicable fees.

Content & intellectual property
You retain ownership of the content you submit, and grant StepRecruit a licence to host and display it for the purpose of operating the service. All platform software, branding and design remain the property of StepRecruit.

Privacy
Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Disclaimers
The platform is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that a job post will be filled, that a candidate will be hired, or that profiles and listings are complete or accurate. You are responsible for verifying counterparties and complying with employment law.

Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, StepRecruit is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for agreements, disputes or conduct between companies and candidates. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch law.

Suspension & termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the platform unlawfully.

Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this page and the “last updated” date will be revised. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

Governing law & contact
